Thomas Sauer
Thomas Claude Sauer is President & CEO of the EXXERGY Group, a globally acting consulting firm providing first class consulting and operational support. The international consulting focus is in the fields of Energy, Specialty Chemicals, and in particular Glass. Assuming EXXERGY commitments, besides the operational tasks, Mr. Sauer is engaged in supporting quality control and standardization efforts in the renewable energy sectors (particularly PV) participating in expert circles at IECRE, SolarPower Europe, SunSpec Alliance, etc.
Prior to establishing EXXERGY, Mr. Sauer was Chief Executive Officer of IBC Solar AG. From 2001 to 2006, he was Vice President Corporate Strategy and Development at Schott Glas/Schott AG, and Executive Vice President Business Unit Advanced Materials with global P&L-responsibility. In addition to energy related matters, Mr. Sauer has professional experience in aviation, chemical engineering, and specialty materials. Following his studies in Mechanical and Process Engineering at the Technical University Munich and in Chemical and Process Engineering at the University (TH) Karlsruhe he achieved his Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University (TH) Karlsruhe in Germany.

Roger Taylor
Roger Taylor is Business Development Director at EXXERGY GmbH. Roger has significant operational experience in traditional electricity markets in APAC. He participated in the development of the New Zealand Electricity Market (NZEM), contributing to the development of that market whilst CEO of an electricity contracts brokerage and trading firm. As a senior consultant with KPMG he worked on the business case for separation of the then monopoly generator, leading to its break-up. Roger also has senior executive and consulting experience in organisations that own and operate substantial public network assets and he is familiar with the range of issues with these assets including funding and pricing, asset management and planning, renewal and maintenance, and monitoring and operations. He was instrumental in the development of the rating system risk and assessment framework. Roger has a Bachelor degree in Commerce and Administration and an MBA and has a certificate in Renewable Energy.

Dr. Hamed Jamal is the Founder and CEO of RACS QUALITY CERTIFICATES ISSUING SERVICES (RACS), an accredited and recognized worldwide quality conformity assessment body serving inspection, verification and certification requirements of clients throughout UAE, GCC, and worldwide, delivering high-quality services to help clients meet the growing challenges of quality and social responsibility.
Simultaneously, he founded Holistic International Testing Services (HITS) the first privately owned laboratory accredited by International Laboratories
Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC), Dubai Accreditation Center (DAC) and the business solution partner of the Turkish Standards Institution (TSE) which is involved in Analytical, verification, and certification services covering Chemistry, Microbiology, and Molecular Biology Laboratories.

As the General Manager, Rose works closely with the public sectors and authorities to help businesses conform to quality requirements and improve end-user experience.
